- Our bikes are having a great showing in races this fall... at the Sucker Brook Cross, Green Mountain Cross (picture by Paul Weiss), Charm City Cross, Westwood Cross, and our new 650B "Bare Bones" debuted at the Vermont 50 endurance mountain bike race.

- 2008, July:
- A friend of ours is riding across the country this summer to fundraise for Pedal for Peace. Check out his blog, track their progress, and make a donation. They are biking hard... 4,600 miles in a little over 2 months. You guys rock!!! Penguin helped the goal by making some bike fit adjustments for comfort on the long trek.
- Penguin Cycles sponsored and volunteered at the 2008 Ascutney Bike Climb... a 2300' ascent in 3.7 miles. Yippie!

- 2008.05.11 - MAY IS NATIONAL BIKE MONTH May 12-16 is Bike-to-Work Week & Friday May 16th is Bike-to-Work Day. Penguin Cycles encourages everyone to ride their bikes to work (or school, church or other activities) at least once this week… and just maybe you will make it into a habit. Not sure how to go about bike commuting? Here is a link with tips to get you on the road, including "Overcoming Bike Commuting Excuses"

- 2008.05.07 - Penguin sponsored the 25th Annual Ridgway Triathlon a few weeks ago. The weather was humid but beautiful and the rain held of for all but the last few canoers. 2008 RESULTS: Overall, Category, Run, Bike, Canoe. Raina joined in the fun as part of a relay with some YMCA staff. She represented for Penguin by posting the fastest female bike time for the day on her Penguin cross bike!
- 2008.04.04 - Ridgway Triathlon Penguin will be volunteering and participating in the 2008 Ridgway Triathlon in Ridgway PA on Sat April 26th. This is a scenic run, bike, canoe triathlon. Join in the racing fun and stop by our tent to check out our bikes and chat with us about biking!
- 2008.01.27 - Happy New Year! We took a short break from bike building and spent a month exploring New Zealand. Check out a few pictures. Production is now back in full swing with several new bikes in progress, incuding a road bike, 2 mtn bikes, and 2 cross racers.

- 2007.05.05 - Thank You Joe "Rigger" Collins for driving us to pick-up, transport, and unload our new (to us) Rockwell horizontal mill. Faster frame fabrication coming soon with a machine mitering set-up from Anvil Bikes.
